In late spring, when many of the grasses dry up, the nomads acquire their flocks, family members and tents up into your Zagros Mountains, and which was the place I first located them, on a high plateau exactly where the snow experienced melted plus the valleys, carpeted with irises and dwarf tulips, had exceptional grazing for their sheep and goats
